Additionally, our timber buyers also practice professional and safe workmanship. Rod physically walks the woods marking trees he suggests for harvest based on best forestry practices. This incorporates woodlot management and targeting of the poorer quality trees for harvest and spacing of trees where they have become overcrowded, leaving a healthy, uneven aged stand with proper basal area. R. Grein Timber Co. Ltd.’s plans allow us to return to the woodlots in the future to harvest and continue utilizing them as a productive resource.
